Universal Works was founded in 2008 by David Keyte after spending many years working with such brands as Paul Smith and Maharishi, but decided he wanted to start a label of his own and something that he would be proud of.
Universal Works menswear is good honest British workwear that fit great. The clothing is a combination of modern tailoring, natural fabrics and yarns, focusing on the essentials like shape and detail, understanding that garments are brought to life down to the single most important element – the product.
Highly skilled people working in small factories that specialise in British workwear and outdoor clothing, and understand that ‘fashion’ isn't all about labels - sometimes let the quality speak for itself.
