TOMS
TOMS Shoes were founded in 2006 by Blake Mycoskie after a holiday to Argentina left a profound imrpession on the young enterpeneur.
Noting the lack of footwear on children in more empoverished areas he founded TOMS with the idea that for every pair of shoes sold he would donate a pair to underprivileged children around the globe. This "One for One" movement has, as of September 2010, provided over 1,000,000 shoes to those in need.
Given the roots of the company, the TOMS designs are based around the Argentinian alpargata espadrille and these comfortable, lightweight design has made them a great success.
Infinities menswear currently includes both the Classic and the University Rope Sole Classic from the TOMS collection.
