Stone Island has been at the cutting edge of men's fashion since it's creation by Sportswear Company in 1981.
Under the watch of Massimo Osti (God rest his soul) the company researched and invented fabrics and dying processes to develop the potential of clothing.
With the perpetual focus always drawing from military uniforms and work wear to provide the most beautifully functional apparel on the market, Stone Island still continues this legacy to this day with Goinata Malagodi now designing the collections.
Stone Island was set up by Italian designer Massimo Osti in 1982 as a secondary line of his main C.P Company label. The brand was remarkable for specialising in surface treatment of fabrics and dyeing techniques.
Stone Island uses inventive dyeing techniques and special fabrics to produce their casual designer menswear, clothing, trainers and shoes. Stone Island jackets have a variety of designs, with special features from the liquid reflective jacket to the ice jacket which changes colour when the temperature drops.
