The Adidas 1609er is a reintroduction of the Original Adidas Miler (1609 is the number of metres in a mile). The shoe was originally launched in 1979 as a lightweight training shoe in a nylon upper with suede overlays. Green nylon uppers with suede green overlays. Blue signature Adidas stripes down the sides, and blue leather heel tab with the Adidas trademark logo on. The trainer also has a white sole.
