CruyffIt 1979 Dutch football legend Johan Cruyff was in Barcelona and he decided to develop a range of elegant sportswear that was perfectly designed for the technical footballer. The emergence of his brand and his already superstar persona, kicked the brand into the fashion spotlight.

Today, Cruyff Trainers continue to draw inspiration from the past, using a combination of history and craftsmanship to incorporate new technologies and knowledge such as traditional methods with a classic sports styles.

Cruyff Trainers are possibly one of the best selling mens designer footwear brands at the moment with a massive range of Cruyff trainers available including the iconic vanenburg and recopa footwear.

As well as creating beauty and magic on a football pitch, Dutch superstar Johan Cruyff also found time to create his own stylish sportswear line specialising in footwear. In recent years the company has rebranded and Cruyff Trainers, officially entitled Cruyff Classics, have become hugely popular in the UK.

Cruyff Recopa and Cruyff Vanenburg are the two models that have proved most successful of all. Cruyff trainers were designed to be elegant and functional, ideal for technical players. While Cruyff trainers are no longer associated with sporting use, they remain popular.

Growing in popularity and size season by season the Cruyff Trainers collection is fast proving to be the most popular designer trainer’s brand. Owned and designed by legendary footballer Johan Cruyff, the collection was first introduced to the UK a few years ago with just a handful of styles which included amongst others the Cruyff Recopa.
