Creative Recreation was launched in Orange County, California in 2002. The footwear brand was founded by 2 ex-Vans designers who saw a gap in the market between sports trainers and shoes. They decided Creative Recreation should bridge this gap with individual trainers with a smart appearance. Premium leathers are used with perforating techniques and vivid use of colours to create footwear that is clearly Creative Recreation. This design philosophy has seen the shoes and brand quickly gain cult status among trainer lovers worldwide.
